After one heckuva gap, everybody's favourite leering, middle-aged pervert is back: kind of! With all the comic sophistication of a Terry and June episode and the kind of sexual innuendo that Robin Asquith himself would find beneath him, the series began waaaay back in '87; let's hope this new outing has some rather fresher gags.
The new title, Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude - which in itself is a rather dubious example of the double entendre at work - is in development with High Voltage Software, and Vivendi Universal plans to unleash this Finbarr Saunders-style exercise in puerility on PC, PS2 and Xbox before the end of the year.
The game features Larry's nephew, Larry Lovage, in a title that aims to replicate the experience of gross-out US movies like American Pie. As far as we can ascertain, Larry wanders around college dorms trying to get his rocks off and taking part in "wacky" mini-games. You can check the screens and even some footage of the title in action below.
