Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 4 has us in a frenzy of excitement at the mere mention of its impending debut and now Konami has only gone and added a ton of new teams, kits and players to what's already shaping up to be the ultimate playable soccer experience.
Hot on the heels of the recent acquisition of the entire Dutch leagues, Pro Evo 4 has added licenses for two of Europe's top domestic leagues and will now feature all the clubs, players and kits from Spain's La Liga and Italy's Serie A.
Holy moly! Now club giants like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Deportivo, Milan, Juventus and even Parma will feature, with fully authentic players and strips, as well as enhanced abilities like realistic injuries and kits that get dirtier as the match progresses.
Move over FIFA as that takes Pro Evo 4's roster to 56 club sides from the three licensed leagues out of a total of 136 club sides, 50 international sides and nearly 4500 of the world's finest players.
Oh and just so you get a welcome taster, check out these find selection of new screenshots which feature some of those stars. like shaggy-haired Czech and Juventus midfield dynamo, Pavel Nedved in action.
Pro Evo 4 is set to sprint off the bench for its debut on PC, PS2 and for the first time ever, Xbox, in the delightfully vague sounding "Q4 2004".
One thing's for sure, that's all our lunchtimes booked up again for the next year.
