If the avalanche of eggs you scoffed on Easter Sunday hasn't settled your sweet tooth here's a sticky batch of sickly new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory screens to keep you going.
Due for release on PS2, Xbox, Cube, GBA and PC this summer to tie in with the release of the new movie (Tim Burton is on directorial duties and partner-in-crime Johnny Depp will play the slightly sinister Willy Wonka), 2K's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will bring all the subversive action to your joypad.
You'll play Charlie Bucket, the lucky recipient of the last Golden Ticket that entitles you to a guided tour of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The other children on the tour, however, are an assorted bunch of little arse-biscuits who set about ruining Wonka's work with their greediness.
Cue some third-person puzzle-solving platforming straight out of The Big Book of Movie License Game Design. Charlie will be able to take on special powers by chewing Wonka's candies as he helps out the Oompa-Loompas and saves the factory. Environments from both the film and the original Roald Dahl book are promised.
Enjoy the screens.
