Dragon Quest launch at HMV
7th Apr 2006 | 10:56
Next Thursday is the day when the hugely popular (in Japan at least) Dragon Quest series finally makes its European debut, with the release of Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King. In celebration of the event, Londoners (or anyone else for that matter, if they can be arsed to make the journey) can pop into HMV on Oxford Street for a whole bunch of Dragon Quest-related frivolity.
Kicking off from midday to three in the afternoon, HMV is offering shoppers the chance to win a framed Dragon Quest poster signed by gaming legend Yuji Horii, a collectable Slime beanbag and Slime PlayStation 2 controller.
What's more, when you pick up a copy of the game, you'll receive a manga-style portrait of yourself to flash at nervous passers-by in the street. There's also the chance to have your photo taken with the Dragon Quest Puff-Puff Girls who'll be LIVE and in the FLESH at the store.
Quick recap then - pop down to HMV at 150 Oxford Street next Thursday, April 13, between midday and three for all your Dragon Quest needs.
