We're yet to be convinced that PSP can pull off a first-person shooter and it seems Guerrilla think the same. They've turned their excellent PS2 epic Killzone into a top-down Baldur's Gate affair - and, having played its ass off - it sort of works.
Liberation is certainly action-packed - it's got Helghast cannon-fodder by the bucketload, you can order your buddies about to assist you once you've freed them as hostages and there are even tanks to romp about in. But the view's restricted and it feels a claustrophobic at times. Still, there's an intriguing tactical game here. Review next month.
It's an interesting take on Killzone, but we're not entirely convinced that it'll blow us away. Check back next month to see if it's victorious.
