Nintendo of America has confirmed that Mario Kart Wii will be arriving on American shelves on April 27.
Last month, Nintendo let us know that European gamers would be receiving Mario Kart on April 11, so American citizens and US console owners only have to wait sixteen days until they to can join the inevitable internet debate as to if it's any good.
Previously Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime cited the reason for a staggered release schedule on a disc duplication issue, claiming that it would be unfeasible to produce enough discs to meet international demand.
The delay of Super Smash Bros. Brawl in Europe was also blamed on this problem. So based on the sixteen-day turn-around, surely European gamers should expect to see Brawl within weeks after their American releases, right Nintendo?
The European release date for Super Smash Bros. Brawl has yet to be confirmed.
