Sony seems to have pushed back plans to launch the Resistance 2 public beta in September.
A Sony email sent to US PlayStation owners last month said the beta was "scheduled to be available in late September". But tucked away in the press release for Resistance 2's US release is this:
"Gamers eagerly awaiting the game's launch this November will have an
opportunity to get an early look at Resistance 2 [with] a worldwide competitive online multiplayer and co-operative beta beginning in
So, later than expected, then.
Sony also confirmed that putting down a pre-order at US retailer GameStop or buying episode 3 of US-only Qore gets you access to the beta first, while registering at the official site gets you on a little later (if accepted, that is).
Sony is still yet to announce plans for an R2 beta in UK.
