Gran Turismo 5's dynamic weather system is "done", says series mastermind Kazunori Yamauchi - but he's not sure if it'll make it into the final game.
Speaking in the latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Yamauchi said it'll depend on the quality of its raindrops whether the system makes the cut or not.
"Night racing is going to be a part of GT5, but with things like dynamic weather, the choice is about whether it will improve the experience," he said.
"The functionality is not a problem - we've got the weather system done - but if we are not sure about the quality of it, and how it improves the driving experience, we are not going to have it in the game."
The long-awaited racer's been confirmed for March 2010 in Japan, with a Western release still up in the air.
