New Red Faction to contain 'robust' multiplayer

THQ has confirmed that its new Red Faction game will contain 'robust' online multiplayer - and that it will show the game off at E3 this year.
THQ boss Brian Farrell told investors last night in an earnings call: "We plan to launch a high-quality sequel to Red Faction in fiscal 2011.
"Building on their innovative destruction engine, our team at Volition is delivering a quality sequel in the Red Faction universe that will include robust online gameplay. We look forward to showing you why we are excited about these games at E3 this June."
CVG revealed last night that a Red Faction sequel was on the way - along with follow-ups for Saint's Row, Darksiders and De Blob.
So there you are. Those of you that like 'flimsy' multiplayer are in for disappointment.
