ModNation Racers has a 'downloadable content roadmap' thanks to the teachings of LittleBigPlanet, developer United Front Games has said.
Speaking to CVG before the weekend, director William Ho argued that Media Molecule's own create-share-play effort has proven that "people have to be catered to".
He said: "We have a roadmap for downloadable content because LittleBigPlanet has proven that people have to be catered to. People are hungry for more content. It just extends the life of the game, right? It gives more value for money.
"The community determines what the lifespan of the game is," he said, before revealing that ModNation's criticised weapon count is one area UFG's considering swelling via DLC.
"We're going to continue to see how we can expand that in the future and who knows, we might have something to announce," he said.
In the same interview, the ModNation man claimed that the just-announced full sequel to LittleBigPlanet is required to fix the 'community divide' created by DLC.
