Treyarch has dropped a big hint that Call Of Duty: World At War's popular Zombie Mode will make a reappearance in upcoming CoD, Black Ops.
The mode was a big hit in World At War - which hit No.1 in the UK Chart when it was released back in 2008. It even spawned its own dedicated spin-off on iPhone.
When this month's Official PlayStation Magazine asked Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia if Zombie Mode would be making a return in Black Ops, he said:
"We really like the Zombie Mode, and as I mentioned I can't talk about the co-op mode other than to say one of the reasons we love it so much is that it feels like it was a fan adopted mode, made out of passion of a lot of the team members here."
Erm, no-one mentioned co-op... Could this be a clue as to where the zombies may be making a reappearance?
When OPM told Lamia they wanted to see the mode in the final game, he said:
"Well all I can tell you is we listen to the fanbase. Those are our consumers, so..."
Call Of Duty: Black Ops' release date has been set as November 9 worldwide. The title will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii.
