Microsoft's shown off Kinect's dashboard controls at E3.
With the motion camera players can watch a movie without a remote and play a game without a controller. "Kinect brings this vision to life," the platform holder said.
MS showed a user signing in with a hand gesture, which booted up a controller-free dashboard menu.
You can even control your 360 with your voice by saying, "Xbox". MS followed this up with, "Zune" which booted it up swiftly, followed by movie selection by hand.
As seen in the footage released earlier today you can also skip through a video by holding up your hand and moving it along, or even say "Xbox, pause" or "Xbox play" to order the video via voice. It's a cool feature.
"Xbox, play music" starts a tune in your selection pronto.
It's all getting pretty sc-fi isn't it? We can see how this ticks both the novelty and function boxes. But is it enough?
Let's hope Kinect has strong titles to seal the deal.
