The VP of PrimeSense, the Tel Aviv based company behind the Kinect tech, has revealed that their technology will be making the leap from Microsoft's console to home theatre PCs and televisions.
Speaking to Engadget Adi Berenson said the company currently has a deal to integrate the motion technology into HTPCs by the end of the year and are working to have it in TVs by next year.
Much like Microsoft's Kinect hardware they intend to use two 640 x 480 camera sensors but features such as voice recognition and a motorised tilt will be exclusive to the Kinect.
They also teased improved gesture technology to look forward to. Anyone interested in this technology for their TV?
