Speaking in a Nekkei BP interview, Tanaka spoke of high hopes for the sales of the PSP Metal Gear.

While not mentioning the game specifically, he said he believed in future they would offer paid content.

"We're looking into the timing of when to begin paid download service," said Tanaka.

The Metal Gear series is known for its rather blatant product placement, previous titles have featured Apple iPods, CalorieMate and Mountain Dew, hopefully this isn't the kind of content we'll be asked to pay for.
