Kojima team keen on MGS: Rising series

Kojima Productions is keen to make Metal Gear Solid: Rising into an ongoing franchise, it has revealed.
The game was unveiled at E3 2010 last month - with its new cutting mechanic being tested out via a serious sword and some in-game watermelons.
Rising is the first Metal Gear Solid game to be released on the Xbox 360 - and will also hit PS3, as expected.
"It's not just a game where you cut and cut and proceed; you have to accurately aim so that you can take the battery and absorb it yourself," Kojima Productions producer Shigenobu Matsuyama told the latest issue of OPM.
He added: "We would like Rising to go on as a series. Rising is the new MGS by the next generation [of] creators."
The title stars Raiden, who first appeared as a playable character in MGS2.
