EA has publicly backed FIFA cover star, Wayne Rooney following allegations about his private life.
This weekend the Sunday Mirror claimed the Man U and England footy star had a string of encounters with a prostitute while his wife Coleen was pregnant.
The allegations will not, however, affect Rooney's partnership with EA Sports, the publisher's said.
"There are no changes planned," an EA spokesperson told trade mag MCV.
"This is a personal matter and we respect Wayne and his family's privacy. We have worked together for six years and Wayne continues to represent EA Sports. We will be making no further comment at this time."
It's of course not the first time EA's had to pledge support to a troubled sports cover star: last year it was quick to back Tiger Woods following his "transgressions" with various women.
