If you're one of the viewers helping the latest Resi movie, Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D, top the box office right now you'll be pleased to know there are TWO more Resident Evil films on the way.
Rather, you'll be pleased about one of them at least - the fifth live-action flick, which lead actress Milla Jovovich says is on the way. "This new Resident Evil is the first one to ever open at No. 1 worldwide. It's the biggest movie in the franchise," Jovovich told New York magazine, adding: "So we're definitely going to make another one."
The next movie will apparently be all about what the fans want to see, too. "We've been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it's probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It's going to be a more interactive process."
Elsewhere, Capcom has announced that a second Resident Evil CGI movie is in production. The first movie, Resident Evil: Degeneration, didn't set critics' hearts on fire, but with 1.6 million copies sold, Capcom considers it "a global hit".
The sequel will be titled 'Resident Evil: Damnation', will feature Leon S. Kennedy as the main character and will be showing in stereoscopic 3D in Japanese cinemas in 2012. No western date was given.
