Codemasters' F1 2010 is poised to take simulation racing to a whole new level...

That's according to the slew of fantastic reviews the racer's amassed so far.

Games Master kicks off the praise with an impressive 90% score. The review describes F1 2010 as "the finest, most all-encompassing F1 racer on console". Time to get the dosh out, racing fans...

Games Radar has also given the game a thumbs up with a 9/10 score. According to its review, F1 2010 features "superb, intelligent AI racers," and "a frankly obscene amount of content to discover".

The approachable gameplay, slick weather effects and realism have also earned it a 9/10 from Videogamer, 8.5 from IGN and an 8.6 from NowGamer. Good stuff.

Edge is quite keen on the game too, issuing it an 8/10 score which places it alongside classics such as Formula One Grand Prix, Bizarre Creations' Formula 1 '97, and Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II.

It's out next Friday. Who's rushing to the shops then?
