The innovative handheld got an official Japanese release date earlier this morning along with a video showcasing its software line-up.

As you can see, Nintendo's decided to change some of the colours around - most notably on the slide pad - and it's also unveiled (that makes it sound well dramatic) the handheld's stylus. Which looks wicked.

Two colours will be available at launch in Japan; Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black.
