EA Sports has apologised to Lincoln City Football Club fans for sticking its old kit in FIFA 11.
The publisher's admitted failing to update the Lincoln shirts to include the new sponsor, collar and pattern changes made during the summer, and the football club itself has said it's "extremely disappointed".
The publisher's now working on an online update to correct the mishap.
"Currently Lincoln City are featured in FIFA 11 in last season's kit, with the old sponsor," and EA spokesperson said.
"We are aware of this error and we apologise to the club, sponsor and fans and we are working towards a fix featuring new club sponsor, GoCar."
Lincoln City CEO, Dave Roberts added: "While we are extremely disappointed for our new shirt sponsor GoCar, we have been impressed with the speed of the response from EA Sports.
"We understand they can provide an online update for the game, so it should be corrected."
To be fair, more than half of the Premier League teams don't have their proper stadiums or likenesses - League 2 clubs can't have high expectations for accuracy, surely?
