EA has announced 'Dragon Age Legends', a new free-to-play Facebook game set in the dark fantasy universe of BioWare's RPG.
The firm said Legends' combat will have a particular focus on tactics and co-operative gameplay that utilises the strengths of Facebook.
It'll also give players the opportunity to unlock exclusive content for Dragon Age II.
"We are privileged to be working with BioWare to bring the Dragon Age universe to the hundreds of millions of gamers on Facebook," said Mark Spenner, general manager of EA 2D.
"Dragon Age Legends will deliver a deep, sophisticated experience, and we will continue to delight gamers by adding new features and content far into the future." Spenner added.
BioWare's QA lead Mitchell Fujino accidentally revealed that the studio is working on an "unannounced handheld game" alongside Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
