Konami has confirmed that PES 2011 will be released for Nintendo 3DS on the console's European launch day, March 25.
It had only previously been confirmed that the title would be a "launch window" game in Europe, although it was revealed that it will release on day on in Japan.
PES 2011 3DS offers 60 National and 170 club sides, as well as full play-by-play commentary. It also boasts exclusive use of the UEFA Champions League and PES's custom Master League.
In addition, PES 2011 3D supports versus wireless play for two 3DS users and makes use of the console's wireless Street Pass mode.
Street Pass will sense when another Master League team is in the vicinity, and will compare the strength of each side. It will then award a win to the stronger side.
Those with a strong win rate on Street Pass will be promoted to an upper Street Pass Ranking until they reach the ultimate ranking - the UEFA Champions League. The system will also unlock Classic players and teams.
