Blizzard has already admitted it'd be a struggle to get the next ScarCraft venture, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, out in 2011. Now it says it's looking "unlikely", so we wouldn't hold our breath.
When asked if we'd possibly see the game release this year, director Dustin Browder said: "I don't know the answer to that," before proceeding to squash almost all hope.
"We're working on it as hard as we can. We're really trying to push on this and get it out as soon as we can," he told Eurogamer.
"I don't think you'll be playing it this year. That seems very unlikely to me. But we're pounding away on it as fast as we possibly can."
We're pressing F5 right now for the inevitable 'pounding' joke below.
