Nintendo 3DS - Where's cheapest?

Nintendo's 3DS hits European shelves tomorrow, and word on the digital grapevine is the handheld could be tough to come by in seven days time.

To give you a fighting chance we've rounded up all the best 3DS prices so you can get your pre-orders in now and avoid disappointment.

Currently Toys'R'Us, HMV, Play.com and GAME are offering the handheld for £196.99, while Zavvi has them beat them all by 14p at £196.85.

GameGears is offering a pre-order price of £194.99.

The brick and mortar retail battle is being won by Morrisons, which is offering the Nintendo 3DS for £187, beating out Sainsbury's at £199.99, Tesco's £197 and Asda's £197.

However, pre-order with Tesco online and you'll receive receive a voucher to purchase a Nintendo 3DS Game for £10, which seems like a pretty good deal.

Amazon.co.uk has matched Morrisons and is also offering the handheld for £187.00, making it the best option online at the moment.

It's worth mentioning that Amazon regularly drops its price to match competitors and always guarantees customers will pay its lowest price. So it may be the safest bet.

Tesco has slashed the price of the Nintendo handheld to an astonishing £175, according to reports.
