EA Sports may be developing persistent player profiles that transfer data from one title over to the next iteration.
Every time a new FIFA or Madden comes out players have to re-enter their preferences and profiles, and restart modes like Career and Ultimate Team.
But a telling quote made by EA Sports president Peter Moore at the MI6 game marketing conference hints that may not be the case for much longer.
"It's no longer buy Madden 11 and then buy Madden 12 and start from scratch," he said, according to Kotaku. "It's take everything that you've done and migrate it and move it along." Sounds promising.
Nothing's officially confirmed yet, but the first details of FIFA 12 are set to be revealed next month.
