According to a supposed leak from within Microsoft, an Xbox 360 system update will be rolled out later this month, introducing support for a new Microsoft disc format.
Previous reports suggest the new disc format will offer a 14-15 percent boost to the Xbox 360's DVD format by increasing size, as well as introducing new piracy prevention measures.
According to Joystiq's source - who claims to be a Microsoft tech support employee - the update will also include Avatar Kinect, a free virtual chat room, as well as better PayPal support for international markets.
The leaked internal memo indicates the update will be distributed in groups between May 19 and 30, with Avatar Kinect arriving on May 26.
