Nintendo has confirmed that its first major firmware update for the 3DS has been delayed from this month to next.
The update is set to introduce the eShop, an online store housing Virtual Console, DSiWare and 3DS-specific titles, as well as other gaming and media content.
Nintendo of Japan's official website now lists the update for June 6 in the US and June 7 in Europe and Japan, which coincides with the company's E3 press conference.
Yesterday, reports from Famitsu detailed some of the content the eShop is believed to be launching with, although there was no mention of the promised web browser support.
