Rage delayed

Id Software's shooter Rage has been delayed until October 7. It was originally scheduled for release on September 15 in Europe.
The new date has been spotted on the game's official website. GameStop has also knocked Rage's release date back to October although, curiously, the retailer has it down for October 4.
Internet chatter is suggesting the change in date is to avoid Rage clashing with Gears of War 3.
If the game does release on October 4 though it will arrive with Twisted Metal and October 7 would see it clash with Dark Souls.
