Sony Online details 'make good plan' following hack

MMO subscription prices cut

Sony Computer Entertainment Online has reduced the cost of subscribing to its MMOs, as well as the price of the SOE Station Pass.


The subscription fee for games including EverQuest II, Planetside and newly launched super-hero MMORPG DC Universe Online have been cut to $14.99 a month while the SOE Station Pass, which gives the subscriber unlimited access to all titles, has been dropped from $29.99 a month to $19.99.

After being forced to take its servers offlineSony Online Entertainment outlined a DC Universe "make good plan" following the admission that some customers' personal information had been stolen.

Late last week Sony Online Entertainment announced all services related to Star Wars Galaxies, including MMO play and the Trading Card Game, will go offline in December.
