Metal Gear Solid, ZOE HD Collections confirmed for Vita

HD remakes confirmed for Sony's next-gen handheld

The Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders HD Collections previously confirmed for PS3 are also coming to PlayStation Vita.

Hideo Kojima just confirmed so on the stage of Sony's pre-TGS conference in Tokyo, Japan (being broadcast live as we type).

Both games will support a cloud saves feature that will let players pick up their save files on either PS3 or Vita entirely through the internet.

The MGS Collection - with transferable saves - was previously announced for PSP.

As for Zone of the Enders, it's not the third instalment everyone was quietly hoping to see announced for PS3 - even Kojima has made his desires known - but we'll take more HD goodness.

We've also been getting plenty of Metal Gear Solid HD screenshots for the collection heading to PS3 and 360, so we have a good idea of what that will end up looking like on the Vita.
