Starbreeze has announced that it's working on a new IP alongside award-winning film director Josef Fares (pictured) and The Story Lab.
Fares is said to be a "household name in Sweden" thanks to the "box office hit" Jalla! Jalla! and "blockbusters" such as Kopps, Zozo and Farsan.
Starbreeze is a name we're more familiar with. The 90-man Swedish studio worked on the Chronicles of Riddick and The Darkness and is currently handling EA's Syndicate reboot.
Fares said of the new project: "I love games, and I have been working on a games concept for quite some time. The more I worked with the concept, the more convinced I felt that this is a solid game idea."
Starbreeze CEO Mikael Nermark added: "Just minutes into Josef's presentation we knew that this was a game that we wanted to develop, and we started to work on the concept the very same day."
