More 3DS update details emerge

As reported yesterday, Nintendo is due to release a 3DS update on November 4 which adds 3D video recording capabilities to the system.

Today, ahead of a 3DS press conference taking place at midday, a few more details of the update have emerged in the pages of Japanese business publication Nikkei (via Andriasang).

According to the report, 3DS owners will be able to capture up to ten minutes of 3D video.

While it lacks specifics, the article also says users will be able to upload videos to external sites like YouTube.

We should get all the official details from Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata later today, when he's also expected to cover Mario Kart 7's wireless play support.
