Irrational Games has released a new BioShock Infinite video detailing the characters of its highly anticipated aerial FPS.
Studio chief Ken Levine explains: "In BioShock 1 I think the biggest character in the world was actually the world - the world of Rapture. In Infinite we're continuing that tradition as well - there's a lot of narrative told in the world, probably on the same scale as with BioShock 1."
"But we also saw an opportunity to bring the dynamic element of storytelling to the characters and our challenge is of course that we don't have a very presentational medium...
"When you think about storytelling in a lot of games you're thinking about having a cut-scene or being locked into place. That's not something that we really like to do."
