Altair has always been the most mysterious character, will we learn more about him in Revelations?

Darby McDevitt: The Altair segments in Revelations span many decades of Altair's life, and reveal much about his struggles to be an Assassin - both before the events of AC1 and after.

Have you always known the ending or has it evolved throughout the course the series? Has it been difficult to blend the different characters and plot arcs?

Alexandre Amancio: Our games are strategically planned ahead of time in terms of the narrative arcs. Previous games in the franchise have been leading up to this key moment in the characters' life in Revelations.

Has it surprised you how much fans have become invested in the characters of Ezio, Desmond and Altair?

Darby McDevitt: We are more delighted than surprised about the strong and passionate reaction fans have had to our Assassins. We knew very early on that we had created a franchise with a strong identity and immersive artistic direction, so our main concern was to find the right way to get the attention of the right audience... people who would love our characters and settings as much as we do.

What will it be like for you to finally say goodbye to these characters after working on them for so long?

Alexandre Amancio: Work on Revelations is not done yet. Ask again in a few months.

We must ask, what will the future hold for the series now? Are you looking forward to a bright new beginning? What are your aims for the next Assassin's Creed game?

Alexandre Amancio: I am fully committed on Assassin's Creed Revelations at the moment and I do not know what the future of the series hold. Your guess is as good as mine.
