A resume belonging to a Visceral Games writer has hinted at the existence of Dante's Inferno 2.
The blog of Joshua Rubin, unearthed by Superannuation, states he is "creating a major new unannounced IP for a AAA game company" and specifies him as the "sole writer for a Major Unannounced Sequel" from Visceral Games, the studio behind Dante's Inferno and the Dead Space franchise.
The vagueness of the statement is offset by a link directing readers to the Super Bowl commercial for the first Dante's Inferno game, suggesting that Visceral is working on a sequel. Of course there's an equal chance that the studio was working on Dante's Inferno 2 in the past but has since ditched it.
In June last year Visceral posted a job advert stating the studio was looking for an environment artist to work on "the sequel to a major new IP at the award-winning Visceral Games," leading many to speculate a sequel was in production.
The rumors intensified a few months later when a second job post advertised for a new recruit to work a "sequel to a major new IP at the award-winning Visceral Games, creators of Dead Space and Dante's Inferno".
Do any of you fancy another Dante's?
