The NES original Kid Icarus is not only on its way to 3DS, but it will also be the first 3D Classics title to receive a total graphical makeover.
So far 3D Classics titles such as Xevious, Urban Champion and Twinbee have only received upgrades of the stereoscopic kind - their original NES sprites made to stand out of the screen and given a 3D polygonal view in some cases.
Kid Icarus, however, will have entirely enhanced sprites and levels, as the video below shows.
