Along with a snazzy new 3D display mode, photo camouflage for Snake and gyro sensor controls, Konami has added first-person and over-the-shoulder modes to Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, the Nintendo 3DS version of the classic PS2 title.
Protagonist Naked Snake will also be able to shuffle around while crouched, another feature not available in the original release.
Meanwhile, Konami has released the Japanese box art for the game, which features the character models of Snake and The Boss, instead of Yoji Shinkawa's original artwork.
Series creator Hideo Kojima announced last month that Snake Eater 3D will be available from March 8, 2012.
