Evidence is pointing to a possible Resident Evil reveal later today.
The website in question features a video of a woman cowering in her home, attempting to hide from an unidentified threat, while multiple biohazard signs are dotted around the page, and one of the blog entries is titled "biohazard sign".
Biohazard is of course the Japanese name for the Resident Evil series.
The site has since been linked to Capcom through both its web domain and real-world adverts posted in Vauxhall, London, and the date 19.01.12 (today) features prominently.
Capcom is celebrating the Resident Evil series' 15th anniversary, with an official event set to take place in Japan tomorrow.
Of course, a Resident Evil 6 reveal could be wide of the mark. It has been confirmed that the first teaser trailer for the fifth instalment in the Resident Evil movie series, Paul W. S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Retribution 3D, is set to be released today (thanks to CVG reader Andrew White for the tip).
Additionally, a new Resident Evil compilation bundle has apparently been leaked by retailers. According to reports, the 'Resident Evil HD Remaster Twin Pack' will bundle Resident Evil 5 Alternate Edition with the HD remakes of Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica.
Is that all Capcom has up its sleeve for the celebrations, or will it announce the big news we really want? Stay tuned to these pages today to find out.
