Game Developers Choice Awards: Skyrim gets GOTY

Portal 2, Bastion, Battlefield 3 also walk away with gongs

Valve's Portal 2 was the big winner at this year's Game Developers Choice Awards, but it was Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that walked away with the coveted Game of the Year award.

Industry legend Warren Spector was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement award.

The event was hosted by Epic Games wunderkind and Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski, and featured appearances from Supergiant Games, Naughty Dog, DICE and other studios. Have a look at the full list of nominees and award winners below (the winners are listed in bold):
