Pokémon Black & White 2, the first direct sequel in the series' 15 odd year history, will feature an all-new cast of characters and a new location.
According to Coro Coro Comics (via Andriasang) players will be able to pick from newly sporty styled male and female trainers beginning their quest to catch 'em all.
Obviously, the game will have a new rival to keep you at the top of your Pocket Monster training game, and a second character named Akuroma has been introduced. He's described as a mysterious figure researching the strengths of Pokémon.
Meanwhile Homika and Shizui are named as two of the new gym leaders. Homika is armed with poison type Pokemon, while Shizui relies on water type monsters.
While Black and White 2 will still take place in the Isshu Region, players will begin their journey in Hiougi City, in the South of Isshu.
Coro Coro also says Pokémon Black and White 2 will be out in Japan on June 23, though Nintendo hasn't confirmed when it'll make it over to the western world yet.
Last month Nintendo released the Pokémon Black & White 2 box art. Spoilers: It's got Pokémon on it.
