Star Trek gameplay trailer shows laser combat

Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Star Trek - the action game that will tie in with next year's movie.
The "action-packed combat game" is set to launch on PS3 and 360 in the first quarter of 2013 prior to the May 17 theatrical release of the next Star Trek movie from director and producer J.J. Abrams.
"The game is based on a stand-alone storyline that continues the adventure of iconic characters Kirk and Spock as they work together to stop an enemy race bent on conquering the galaxy," explains Namco.
