Max Payne 3 PC system specs confirmed

Can your PC run next month's blockbuster from Rockstar

Max Payne 3 is just weeks away now, and if you're planning on grabbing a PC copy you'll want to make sure your hardware is up to the task.

Rockstar has released the PC specs for the third-person shooter, and you certainly won't be able to run it if you don't have some fairly modern kit.

"Developed in parallel with the game's console versions, Max Payne 3 for PC supports DirectX11 including tessellation, as well as a number of additional advanced graphics options and is optimized to run across a wide range of PC setups," says Rockstar.

Here are the specs, and below them are some HD PC screens showing what the game will look like if your PC has some serious processors.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Max Payne 3 launch on May 15 in North America and May 18 internationally, while the PC edition's out on May 29 in the US and June 1 everywhere else.
