New screens of Pokémon Black & White 2 have appeared online. Squint hard enough and you might see something interesting.
For the most part the screens show off the usual stuff you'd expect from Pokémon: environments presented from an isometric perspective and trainers going toe-to-toe.
It looks like Black and White 2 will have some added flair in battles thanks to dynamic comic book panel presentation. We like the look of that.
Black and White 2 will see the return of some old faces from the Pokéverse, including pervy rock Pokémon specialist Brock, leader of Team Rocket Giovanni, and Gary 'I've-got-ten-badges-even-though-there-are-only-eight' Oak, who you'll be able to face off against in the new Pokémon World Tournament.
Nintendo and Game Freak recently filed a trademark for Pokemon Adventure Camp, suggesting there could be yet more surprises in store for Pokémon fans.
