Admiral Hackett, EDI and Kaidan Alenko all appear set to feature in Mass Effect 3's Extended Cut.
The game's conclusion and players' lack of control over it caused a massive furore which essentially forced BioWare into announcing Extended Cut, which is being designed to offer users more personalised endings that better reflect the choices they made throughout the trilogy.
We haven't heard much about Extended Cut since it was revealed in April, but a number of the game's voice actors have now recorded new sessions, essentially confirming they'll be making reappearances in the free DLC when it launches this summer.
Lance Henriksen, who voices Admiral Steven Hackett, told G4: "I just did another session with them... They were saying there's a little bit of a problem with the abruptness of the ending. So we did a whole series of things to add to the end of the game, to live up to the quality they've been doing."
Tricia Helfer, who plays Normandy AI EDI, said: "I'm voicing some more Mass Effect on Monday."
Raphael Sbarge, the voice behind Kaidan Alenko, also confirmed via Twitter: "Just when you thought I would never go back, they keep PULLING me back in #MassEffect!! Recording!! Yay! Wha-hoo!"
