United Front Games design director Mike Skupa has expressed hope that Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4, or whatever Microsoft's and Sony's next generation consoles are called, will be priced to attract the mass market.
Asked about his next-gen wish list, he told our friends at Xbox World: "For me, it's lowering the cost and making things more accessible for the average consumers."

"The second point, for a game like this especially where there's a melee component to it, I'd be very interested to see what the hardware manufacturers are doing with the next generation of body movement recognition. Obviously it would be very difficult to beat the current controller set up for a game like this where there are so many things to do. I'd be interested to see what they're thinking up there and how that could be, even sparingly used in a next gen title like this one."
Sleeping Dogs is heavily inspired by classic Hong Kong cinema action flicks, which explains all the faces being smashed in the latest batch of screenshots. If you want to see it in action, here's a four minute Sleeping Dogs gameplay video.
The Xbox 360, PS3 and PC title is set for release on August 14 in the US and three days later in Europe.
