Ubisoft is pairing its Montreal and UK development workforce to co-develop Watch Dogs, the open-world action game that made waves at E3 last week.
Ubisoft Montreal is thought to be the lead studio on the project, with Reflections contributing on certain elements to the game.
Reflections is best known for its work on the Driver series, and has previously collaborated with Montreal on Far Cry 3.
"Reflections has been attentively watching the reaction to Watch Dogs at E3," said Ubisoft's UK general manager Giselle Stewart.
"The studio is very excited to be working with Ubisoft Montreal on this new IP, and is currently expanding its Newcastle-based team developing for the title," he added.
Ubisoft has announced a 2013 launch window for Watch Dogs, a real contender for game of the show at E3 last week.
