Dead Space 3 on Wii U: 'Not currently in the plan'

14th Jun 2012 | 20:12

Visceral Games and publisher EA currently have no plans to release a Wii U version of Dead Space 3.

That's according to the blunt words of Visceral Games' vice president and general manager Steve Papoutsis, who told NintendoWorldReport recently that a Wii U version is "not currently in the plan."

Wii U - which will be on technical parity with Xbox 360 and PS3 - will be out later this year. Dead Space 3 has been given an official release date of 'February 2013'.

EA has already admitted that it's "holding fire" on two unannounced Wii U games, and while Dead Space 3 may not be one of them, we wouldn't consider it a huge surprise if a Wii U version of the game was announced before it arrives next year.
