Saints Row publisher THQ has closed down its publishing operations in Spain and Italy, sources close to the matter have told CVG.
The company's publishing group in Italy went into liquidation last year following the poor sales of uDraw, and its Spain office has now also closed as part of a wider restructuring operation.
Koch Media has been selected as the publisher's new distribution partner, and will ship games to retailers across Spain and Italy.
"Following a strategic review of our operations in Spain and Italy, we were looking for a distribution partner who has the most effective networks locally to market THQ's products," said Annie Sullivan, THQ's managing director of European market development.
"I'm excited for the opportunities that THQ's partnership with Koch Media represents and am looking forward to working together on successful launches of our forthcoming products."
THQ has refocused its business on the traditional core market, moving away from the kids games market completely.
