Wii U will cost €399.99 and be released on December 21, according to a listing on Amazon.de.
Amazon's German site notes that Nintendo "has not yet provided retail price and the price may drop even more".
Last week the online retail giant listed the Wii U for £199, despite the fact that Nintendo has not yet announced the RRP for the system. Amazon later apologised for the "error" in a mass-email sent to pre-ordered customers. All pre-orders were cancelled.
Nintendo has declined to comment on the listing.
Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has said Nintendo must sell the Wii U for less than $300 (£190) per unit in order for it to stand a chance at retail.
