EA offering free triple-A Origin games to select customers

Publisher rolls out promotion celebrating PC portal's paper anniversary

Electronic Arts is providing a select number of its North America customers a choice of free games such as Spore, Dragon Age Origins and Battlefield Bad Company 2.

The offer, which appears to be limited to a select number of US and Canada customers, is promoted as a celebration of Origin's first full year in business.

An email flyer, unearthed by users on the NeoGaf forum, appears to show that the offer is limited to the three aforementioned games.

Meanwhile, EA is offering all of Origin's customers a discount on eighteen different titles. In some cases users can save about 90 per cent on RRP.

As of February 2012, Origin had been installed by around 9.3 million users.
